This policy spells out the criteria for removing registered members of www.thenortheast.com. A record may be removed from the www.thenortheast.com gateway for the following reasons: -

1. Failure of organisation to keep information and URL's up to date and accurate. An attempt will be made by the administrator to contact the record holder via email, phone and post - failure of the record holder to respond will result in the organisation being de-listed.
2. Inappropriate content, including but not limited to; offensive content, obscene content, harassing content or content not adhering to the principals of the Data Protection Act (1998) i.e. consent not being sort for the display of any information relating to an individual.
3. Repeated and substantiated complaints about a registered members website. In this instance the organisation will have a right of reply to the complainant. The judgement of MLA North East on whether to remove is final in such cases.
